Student Wellness
Student success at Baldwin Park High School is directly related to how "well" our students are in all areas of life. If you are in need of assistance, we have trained professional staff members, including school counselors, school psychologists, school social workers, teachers, and administrators who are available to support students during the school day.
Wellness Center
Baldwin Park Unified School District and the Los Angeles County Office of Education's Community Schools have come together to bring a wellness center to Baldwin Park High School. The BPHS Wellness Center is a safe place for students to check-in with someone, take a break, and learn more about mental health and wellness strategies.

Care Solace
Care Solace is a community based care coordinator whose purpose is helping families access drug and mental health resources. These resources are customized to the student/family's specific needs (service, age, gender, insurance, language). To begin your search visit:

Hazel Heart
Hazel Health has partnered with Baldwin Park Unified School District to offer short term virtual therapy for students. Sessions are conducted virtually via any smartphone, tablet, or computer that connects via Wifi, and can occur at school or at home, depending on family preference. Hazel services are provided at no out-of-pocket cost to families.

Wellness Programs
Workshops - throughout the school year we hold workshops that teach strategies and coping techniques for dealing with anxiety, stress, and depression.
Support Groups - in collaboration with Kaiser Permanente's Educational Outreach Program, students can participate in the Girl Talk or Boy Talk groups. The weekly support groups meet during lunch for a period of 6-10 weeks. Students can sign up with their counselor or school social worker.
Community Partners
The Family Center provides individual counseling services for students with Medi-Cal. Services are provided on campus during one class period on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Please see a counselor for a referral.
Kaiser Permanente's Educational Outreach Program connects students and families to individual counseling, group, and family services for students who do not have medical insurance. Services are provided off-campus. Please see a counselor or school social worker for a referral. Kaiser Permanente's Educational Outreach Program also provides on-campus individual counseling, crisis intervention, and support. Please contact a school counselor for specific information regarding eligibility for on-campus services through Kaiser Permanente's Educational Outreach program.
