WELCOME TO THE COUNSELING DEPARTMENT

The Counseling Department at Baldwin Park High School believes all students can achieve and succeed.  We have professional staff that are here to make it happen. Our goal is to provide each student with the proper tools for success, not only in high school but for their future beyond BPHS.  We take a proactive approach with interventions to meet academic, personal/social, and emotional needs of each student.  The BPHS Counseling Department adheres to the standards and best-practices set forth by the American School Counseling Association to implement a comprehensive and data-driven school counseling program.

Services offered:
  • Individual support and small group guidance lessons in academic, personal/social, and career domains
  • A safe school environment in which we promote high levels of student learning
  • College and career readiness for all students
  • Serve as a liaison between students, families, and community agencies

We pride ourselves in all of the resources we offer, and understand that at times it can be difficult to know where to go for support. Please read through our available resources and if you have any additional questions please contact us.
