BPHS Administration Team Message
Dear Baldwin Park High School Community,
We began the 2021-2022 school year with a successful registration process, which included the distribution of textbooks and Chromebooks to all students. It was a joy to see both our students and parents eager to begin the school year. The hard work invested during the summer to ensure all students had a Chromebook paid off as 90% of our students attended classes during the first month of school.
Baldwin Park High School is proud of its students and parents for their perseverance and determination to succeed during this new platform of virtual schooling; this makes evident that our community values education. BPHS teachers continue to work long hours to master the ever-changing world of technology. Teachers have also shown high levels of fortitude as they have ventured into a new work environment. BPHS staff and administration want our community to know that we are always here to serve, even though physical meetings are not regularly available; please continue to reach out to us.
During the course of this school year, BPHS will make every effort to offer a variety of opportunities for students and parents to participate in school events. For example, student clubs and organizations will soon begin virtual activities, and we are looking forward to athletics starting prior to winter break. In addition, we are looking forward to incorporating a hybrid model for our CTE courses.
Our online parent workshops have been a great success, similar to physical parent meetings. Over the past, few months we had more than 500 families join administration for meetings. Open house was a new virtual experience, and we look forward to similar and increased participation during the second semester.
Your BPHS Administration Team recognizes staff, faculty, parents, and students for their hard work and dedication to make Baldwin Park High School a great place to learn. Student safety and academics will continue to be a priority as we tackle this new world.
To produce students who are inspired and prepared to be active citizens both locally and globally.
To graduate all students with high levels of academic and personal achievement, ready for post-secondary success, through researched-based instruction and a collaborative system of support.
